![]() Seems like it could offer quite the power fantasy trip and God Sims are a rare breed these days, but it may never fully be a vision that's realised to its full potential.īy far the more further along of the two, what with it being officially released at this point, Megaton Rainfall offers the opportunity to be an immortal and mighty extra-dimensional being in the vein of SupermanXDr. The game promises by its finished state to let you do crazy things like trigger supernovae and abduct planets into pocket universes. You play as an ascended deity with your own set of mortal followers in space and have to protect them from the threats of other players, as well as possible PvE stuff it seems. It seems to want to combine God Games with MMO, RTS and 4X elements. This is certainly an ambitious enough idea. Both share similarities in that they cast you as almighty beings but are still very different games. These two fall under the umbrella of stuff I haven't played and more the premises and ideas put forth by them greatly interest me, they just seem to need some more work done to them. It's short but what's there is awesome, great levels, great soundtrack, great controls, various modes including an endless mode(which also turns the game into a roguelite, because it wasn't awesome enough already), various difficulties, and, if you're the kind of guy that likes things like high scores, that can give a bit of replay value to the game, it's just a great game. While i am not that big a fan of the Newgrounds like look of the game, this is a damn good fast paced platformer inspired by games like Gunstar Heroes, Metal Slug and others. Picture Pikmins only instead of playing as Captain Olimar, you play with a greek philosopher or philosophers leading the people of Greece against the Gods and many other elements of greek mythology, ever wanted to kill Hera with citizens, slaves, spartans, philosophers, and other heroic and famous characters of greek mythology and folklore like Medea and Icarus? Return of the classic series, it's basically a mix of puzzle, action and arcade games, but for those who haven't played Lode Runner, you run around collecting blocks of gold to unlock a staircase, and there are enemies that can kill you, thankfully, you can just trap by making holes and burying them.Īnyways, while i am not the biggest voxel fan, it works for this game, there are many new levels including all the levels of the classic game(sadly, remade with voxel graphics), and more levels on top of that with extra levels with new enemies and even puzzle levels which have no enemies, oh, and there is a level editor, Steam Workshop support and the ability to share and play levels made by other players, so.you know, this game isn't exactly lacking in content and it's just awesome. Fun twin stick shooter with local multiplayer for 4 players, basically, you are a knight that has to rescue a princess and goes through a dungeon to rescue her with your infinite throwing axes and other weapons you pick up with finite ammo, with subsequent playthroughs unlocking more items and equipment to use and even things like an endless mode, just one awesome twin stick shooter that does everything right. ![]()
